Stories of Everyday Heroes Among Us
Established in 2015, the LG Award for Good Citizens recognizes individuals who have shown courage to help neighbors in danger, often putting their own safety aside. The LG Welfare Foundation seeks out unsung heroes across our communities and shares their stories widely. Reflecting the spirit of the award, about one in five recipients have donated their prize money back to causes they care about — helping foster a culture of mutual support and compassion in our society.
